Seregélyes - Vasárnap nem éppen szokványos sporteseményre invitáltak. A seregélyesi Zichy-Hadik kastély parkjában rendeztek krikettbajnoki mérkozést, ahol a Comenius CC a Dunamenti Kenguruk csapatát fogadta.... olvasd el!

Fejer Megye sajat krikett csapata megmérkőzőtt Magyarország egyetlen 100%-osan magyar krikett csapata ellen a gyönyörű Zichy-Hadik Kastély gyepén.

Mezica Tournament, Slovenia
Friday 22nd - Sunday 24th August 2008
10 players travelled to the tournament, but lost both matches to the experienced national Slovakian team and to Slovenian side Bela Krajina, so they didn't make the semi-finals
The bowling and fielding of Comenius were tight, but the batting let the side down

Friday 24th - Sunday 26th August 2007
9 players travelled by train to Maribor and then were taken to the tournament location in Mezica
They played 4 matches in the tournament: 2 group matches (victory over the hosts, followed by a big loss to the tournament favourites), the semi-final against the Slovakian team (won thanks to wickets from Zoli and big scores from Kristof and Andy), the final (a closer encounter with the strongest team, Velden Veterans, with Comenius losing with one over to go)
To get to the final was a great achievement and everybody played their part

Tour to Settle CC, Yorkshire
Thursday 21 - Tuesday 26 June 2007
15 players and 2 coaches flew to Manchester and stayed with host families in Yorkshire
They received coaching and played 3 matches: 2 defeats (by 9 runs and by 46 runs) and 1 victory (by 9 wickets, including two fifties!)
A great time was had by all and the players came back charged up to practise hard and improve their games
Plans are already being made for the Settle CC adult team and for a junior side to come here next year
